Crown Heights United Methodist Church

Weddings

When two persons enter into holy matrimony they not only pledge faith to each other, but they also enter into covenant with God. Therefore, a wedding ceremony is a service of worship. Subject to the traditions and worship style of our congregation, non-members can plan to have their wedding here.

Sanctuary

Our sanctuary has a seating capacity of 225 on the floor and 75 in the balcony.  Unfortunately, we have no handicap accessible restrooms.

Contact our Wedding Consultant, Stacy Gilbert at 524-8428 or stacy@crownheightsumc.org to receive a copy of our current wedding policy, to schedule a time to view our Sanctuary, or to discuss available dates.

No weddings or rehearsals will be scheduled on Sundays, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, during Holy Week, or on national holiday week-ends. All dates are subject to the availability of the Pastor and the church.

Only a United Methodist Pastor can Officiate the wedding ceremony. Please consult with our Wedding Coordinator should you have another United Methodist minister you wish to use. The order of worship of the United Methodist Church is used at all weddings.

Music in the ceremony is to be sacred in style and Christian in theology, appropriate for our worship setting.
